PROPHETIC WORD
Janet has been called to minister as both an Apostle and a Prophet.
What that means is that she doesn't just "preach a word" for the sake of doing so.
When the Lord opens a door for Janet to minister at a given church or to a people, she takes time to come before the Lord in prayer asking to hear God's heart regarding that particular meeting.
She will then take that "word" and prepares to minister accordingly but always with a heart of submission to the spiritual authority of whom she is a guest.
She understands submission to spiritual authority and knows that God would not allow her to be where she is now if she had not learned this valuable lesson early in her ministry.
Operating in the Office of a Prophet - (according to Eph 4)
As a "Prophet to the Nations," Janet is not in competition with local Pastors but rather considers her call to come alongside Pastors and Church Leaders as she speaks a "now" word from the Lord.
Many times before a meeting, God will give Janet a list of several names. In attendence at the meeting will be many of those individuals. Other times God gives her the names of friends or family members associated with those attending the meeting. Janet will speak a word over them and later the Pastor will share with her testimonies of the awesome things God did for those individuals.
During a meeting, Janet may be preaching and suddenly the Holy Spirit will point someone out in the meeting. She will then speak a direct prophetic word to them as the Lord leads.
Has it always been easy with this call on her life? Absolutely not!
Would she change any part of her walk thus far? Absolutely not!
Every lesson learned has been to mature her for the future and prepare her for the call. Miracles, signs, and wonders all operate in her meetings for the glory of God.
God wants to speak to His people about their destiny, purpose, and future. It is about equipping the saints for the work of the ministry.
